Waka Wānanga

Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō are holding a series of waka wānanga to increase our capability and expand the number of whānau confident on the water in Te Haeata. 

We will be out on the water on Lake Rotoiti in Te Haeata for 2 days on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of November. Our focus is to teach a handful of members how to steer Te Haeata and give others some more experience paddling the waka. 

When? 10am Saturday 5th - 3pm Sunday 6th of November 2022

Where? Lake Rotoiti (accommodation available)

Who? Registered iwi members aged 18 and over. Under 18 will be considered if a parent can come with them.
