Join us at Lake Rotoiti for our Hui-ā-Tau (Annual General Meeting). It's a chance to come together as whānau, catch up, hear what’s happening across the iwi, and enjoy some good kai and kōrero.

Location: Rotoiti Outdoor Education Centre, St Arnaud
Dates: Friday 19 to Sunday 21 September
Accommodation and kai are provided for whānau attending the full weekend.

What’s On

  • Friday night: Kai and whakawhanaungatanga
  • Saturday morning: Outdoor activities (weather permitting)
  • Saturday 1.00pm: Hui-ā-Tau (AGM) both online or at Outdoor Education Centre followed by hākari (shared meal & entertainment).

Getting There

We’ve arranged transport to make it easier for registered whānau to attend:

  • Bus from Whanganui — with pickups in Rātana and Levin, travelling to Wellington for the ferry
  • Ferry travel — Wellington to Picton (Friday) and return (Sunday)
  • Bus from Picton & Blenheim to Rotoiti
  • Other travel assistance available — just get in touch and kōrero with us.

 

Accommodation & Kai

  • Accommodation available for whānau attending
  • Staying at: Sabine Lodge and the Outdoor Education Centre
  • Meals and accommodation provided from Friday dinner through to Sunday breakfast
  • Please bring warm clothes – it’s chilly in Rotoiti this time of year!

  • Tamariki and rangatahi are welcome

  • We encourage early registration so we can plan and secure your spot
