Kia ora e te iwi, a big mihi to those of you who travelled to Blenheim last month for the trip to Rotoiti and the Hui ā Tau (AGM). It’s always great to catch up with faces, old and new. The AGM is an important way you can have your say. If you have never been before, think about it for next year.

One of the key agenda items this year was the cut off for voting in this year’s Trustee election and the announcement of results. Congratulations to Bosun Huntley, of Picton, who returns to the Trust table, and Clinton Gapper, of Picton, who is representing the Tarakaipa hāpū for the first time.

A huge thank you to departing Trustee Tracy Tamou and also to Denis Gapper, who did not put his name forward for re-election this year.

Thank you to all of you who put your names forward for election – it’s great to see good numbers putting their hands up and a sign of a healthy, engaged iwi.
