Tūāpapa series 2026

Registrations are now OPEN for our next Tūāpapa Wānanga at Rotoiti!

Join us for a special weekend of tuna harvesting, mātauranga, whānau and mahi, while we continue building the foundations towards the opening of our pahi.

When: Friday 4th September 2026 5.00pm- Sunday 6^th September 11.00am ish

Where: Rotoiti, St Arnaud

Accommodation: Outdoor Education Centre, Rotoiti.

Accommodation spots are limited and priority will be given to those staying for the whole wānanga.

Over the weekend, we’ll be covering all things tuna harvest – sharing mātauranga, learning about the tikanga and practices associated with the harvest. We’ll also continue our Tūāpapa mahi in preparation for the pahi opening, bringing together the knowledge, skills and whānau connections needed for this kaupapa.

Whether you’ve been part of the Tūāpapa journey from the beginning or are joining us for the first time, nau mai, haere mai!
