We had a great time hosting Te Tauihu iwi at Te Ipukarea 2018 at Lansdowne Park on Saturday. A huge mihi to all those who turned out in yellow and black, supporters who travelled from near and afar, and of course, our amazing group of Mana Rangatahi, whose hard work and discipline never fails to impress.
More than 300 people came from all over the top of the South, and even further afield, and we thank all those involved in this kaupapa. The Apanesians once again brought home the trophy for Tāne Touch and the overall winners on the day were Rangitāne o Wairau.
A big mihi also to Ngāti Rārua, who have taken up the mauri for next year’s competition to be held in Motueka on December 7.
