The Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Trusts have appointed professional director Andrew Murray to the board that looks after the iwi’s commercial interests.
Andrew joins chair Gerrard Wilson and iwi negotiator and long-serving director Peter Mason on the board, which oversees both Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Investments Ltd (NAIL) and Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Assets Holding Company.
Andrew lives in Kaiteretere with his wife Sara and has three grown boys. He has worked at a governance level in both the commercial and charitable sectors and also runs a private investment company with particular interests in property, food, education and managed funds.
More recently, he was appointed an Education Commissioner by the Minister of Education.
